Late night planty time - went to the garage to pot

Late night planty time - went to the garage to pot up the Jade Satin cuttings from last weekend (I should’ve potted them up earlier but you know, toddler time supersedes everything else) then saw that my Pink Princess was still dropping leaves so I finally gave her a major haircut.

Will let them scar over for a few days then put them in some substrate. That reminds me that I need to order some fluval stratum.

I don’t know how parents wake up in the middle of the night with their babies/kids then still wake up to make breakfast… y’all are superhumans.

This dish was only feasible thanks to my dear manfriend watching baby for his first wake window so I can sleep in. We discovered smoky cheddar really amps up the grits 🤤🤤🤤

Took a whole week for me to find time to make this

Took a whole week for me to find time to make this and even though it had to wait til baby went down for the night, who then proceeded to wake up less than an hour later due to his sleep regression, I finally made it!

It’s been such a stressful few weeks but spending time making this was so relaxing and I felt a bit more like pre-baby me. Hope this sleep regression ends soon so I can get a tiny bit more sleep and have energy to do more “me” stuff.

I finally was able to set aside some time to bottle up my secret sauce!

I use this concoction in my weekly waterings for all my plant bebés in various substrates🪴I also use this when propagating plants.

Comes in 4 oz glass dropper bottles for $10.

I took a risk asking Colin for this custom request because I’ve never used TN notebooks before but he delivered!

I asked for a chunky clasp, double snap and extra space to accommodate non-TN notebooks, in case I want to use the cover without the strings.

The pebbly leather is so satisfying to touch, I definitely look forward to using this as my on-the-go notebook in 2022! 💚

I love how @truphae_inc seems to know my color scheme - this Hong Dian fountain pen was in my recent sub box and I was excited because I have a raspberry ink that I wanted to try and it also pairs well with this Gillio planner cover.

When I first discovered Gillio, I never thought I’d want the fuschia croco but it’s now one of my favorites, maybe even more of a favorite than my aubergine planners.

F I N A L L Y posted plants for sale! Been so busy and just started a project management class (I haven’t taken a proper class in 15+ years, wish me luck 🤣).

If you’ve been eyeing some from my collection, you can now have a piece of it! I also have a bunch of hoyas I can take cuttings of so don’t feel shy to reach out.

Was taking a few snippings from this Obscura that’s chillin in the plant bathroom for some coworkers when I decided to take a progress photo.

This is the plant spillover bathroom because it’s too small for my ass to close the door to use the toilet so I just use the shower with the door open and use a diff toilet 😂.

My nap/snack/plant partner crossed the rainbow bri

My nap/snack/plant partner crossed the rainbow bridge last Thursday.

We didn’t realize that we weren’t going to be able to bring her home this time from her severe respiratory infection that wouldn’t let the fluids drain out of her lungs so rather than have her suffer, we let her continue to sleep but this time forever.

I’ve been doing my best to stay busy so that I don’t dwell on the quiet and sadness of her missing presence. She loved plant watching as I’d work in the walk in greenhouse or in the plant room, which you can see she thoroughly enjoyed.

Bodhi was as wise as she may look in some of these photos, she knew how to enjoy things, especially sunlight and pillows. She also tolerated kisses because she knew they’d quickly be followed by treats.

Truly a unique soul, one that I hope to meet again one day. 💚

Still my most favorite philodendron, the Splendid.

I potted up 3 propagated cuttings in sphagnum moss and now it’s growing happily up a @plvntly pole setup.

I want to have this out in the plant room [it grows happily in ambient humidity] but I’m obsessed with how fast it grows in the greenhouse so it’ll probably stay there until it outgrows it 😁
